The shop's story
Todd started Upholstery Shop & Tops in 2001, and it has stayed a local, family-owned operation ever since. Walk in on any given day and you will find Todd and his crew, the same people reviewers call “Todd and the boys” and “Todd and the crew,” working two or three cars at once, each one different from the last.
One bay might hold a Porsche, a Ferrari or a Bentley in for a full interior re-cover. The next has a work truck getting new seat covers before the owner drives it back to a job site. The crew has stitched a fresh top onto a Nissan 350Z, rebuilt a Corvette's seats in blue and tan leather with the script embroidered back in, and pulled a taupe headliner, door panels and bench through a vintage sedan until the whole cabin matched again. Exotics, trucks, classics and daily drivers all come through the same bay doors, and they all get the same needle.
That range goes back decades. The shop has worked on a 1961 Mercury, a 1929 Mercedes, a string of Corvettes, a Mustang GT and an F-150, alongside newer cars that just need a torn seat fixed or a sagging headliner rebuilt. It is not only cars, either. RVs, motorcycles and aircraft interiors and tops come through the same doors, sewn by the same hands.
