Chapter 01
When a top's done, not just faded
Arizona sun works a soft top hard. Vinyl and cloth fade and shrink, seams pull apart at the stress points, and the rear window clouds over or cracks until you can barely see out of it. Once a top starts leaking at the seams there's no patching your way past it. We replace tops for every year, make and model that rolls through the shop in Scottsdale, from a daily-driver Miata to a numbers-matching classic.
Cars aren't the only thing under our roof. The same replacement work goes on RVs, motorcycles and aircraft that need a new top or canopy. If it's stitched, stretched over a frame and living outdoors in this heat, Todd's crew has probably already replaced one like it.

Rear windows, bows and the fit itself
The rear window is the first real decision: glass, which stays clear longer and won't cloud with age, or flexible plastic, which costs less and folds down easier with the top. We also handle window, glass and plastic replacements on their own, for a top that's still good but has a window that's had it.
Once the fabric's chosen, the work is mechanical as much as it is sewing. Elastic and straps get replaced along with the top itself, and the new fabric gets fitted and tensioned over the frame and bows so it sits tight, with no wrinkles and no sail in the wind at highway speed.
Chapter 03
The warranty, in plain terms
Aftermarket top installations carry a 3-year parts and 2-year labor warranty. Factory top installations carry a 1-year parts and 2-year labor warranty. That's the whole policy, spelled out plainly, with no fine print about how you drove the car, how many miles you put on it, or how often you dropped the top down.
